What does a full renovation cost?
Most mid-range full projects land between $50,000 and $100,000. Cosmetic refreshes run $25,000 to $50,000, and high-end custom projects start around $100,000 and climb past $200,000 with structural work. Cabinetry alone is usually 25 to 30 percent of the total.
What does a bathroom project cost?
Cosmetic bathroom work runs $18,000 to $35,000. A moderate primary bath is $40,000 to $75,000, and major structural primary baths run $75,000 to $150,000 and up. A tub-to-shower conversion is typically $15,000 to $30,000.
How long does a project take?
Six to ten weeks on site for a full renovation once materials arrive. Countertop-only jobs are two to three weeks from template to install. Bathrooms run three to eight weeks depending on whether fixtures move. Custom cabinet lead times drive the calendar more than anything else.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. In-home estimates are free with no obligation, and we usually schedule appointments within three business days.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry a Washington State contractor license and general liability coverage, and workers compensation is current. Certificates are available on request before work begins.
Do I need a permit for my project?
Like-for-like cosmetic work usually does not. Moving plumbing or electrical, removing a wall, or changing the footprint does. We pull the permits as part of the contract and schedule the inspections.
Can I stay in my house during the work?
Almost always. We set up a temporary cooking area, seal the work zone, and keep at least one path clear. Plan on eating out more than usual during demolition and rough-in week.
Should I reface my cabinets or replace them?
If the boxes are solid plywood and the layout works, refacing is the better value. If the boxes are sagging particleboard, or the layout is the actual problem, replacement is the honest recommendation. We tell you which one you have at the estimate.
What areas do you serve?
Our home city across ZIP codes 98004 through 98009, plus five surrounding cities, each listed on the service areas page. We also take projects in several smaller neighboring towns.
Can you take on two rooms at once?
Yes. We offer twenty-six services across the two busiest rooms in the house. Homeowners who do both at once usually save on the demolition, permit and finish-carpentry passes.
What happens if you find something behind the walls?
We flag likely surprises during the walkthrough and put an allowance in the estimate. If something genuinely unforeseen appears, you get a written change order before any work on it happens.
What warranty do you provide?
Workmanship is covered by a written warranty, and manufacturer warranties on cabinets, stone and fixtures pass through to you.
